Accounting for Small Business Owners

In this course participants will learn the basics of creating financial  statements, budgets, W-4 reports, and year-end tax reports.

BENEFIT OF  CERTIFICATION:

Keeping track of finances is a key element to running a  successful business. Many now and small business owners are experts in  their field of work but lack the financial understanding to keep their  business fiscally above water.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES STUDENTS WILL LEARN:

How to prepare financial statements (balance sheet) . how to create an  annual budget that works . how to prepare payroll statements .  guidelines to preparing annual tax-returns.

ASSESSMENT:

Participants will  submit 4 completed assignments
